Why isn’t ownership equal between
men and women yet? (2020)

Ownershift compiled research to answer the question: Why don’t women and men own the same amount yet? Our conclusion shows that gender norms, stereotypes, discrimination and segregation in the labor market, as well as gender differences in pay, knowledge, self-confidence, social networks, and behavior are important and inter-re- lated obstacles on the road to increased ownership by women.
